High-Quality, Accessible Italian Wine
D'Agostino Wine had developed a reputation for importing high-quality, Italian wine to customers based in the states. However, their digital presence was not connecting with consumers, and Greg D'Agostino decided to ask us to help position the brand and drive online growth.
Outdated Digital Sales Experience
While D'Agostino Wine were well known locally and within industry circles, there was massive potential for targeting a younger and more affluent audience. Their website was targeted at businesses and lacked consumer brand recognition, as well as a conversion strategy for direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales. In addition to this, their order fulfillment technology was outdated, creating bottlenecks that limited growth potential and could have caused issues that hurt their brand. When Greg first spoke to us, he needed a strategy for targeting consumers, backed by technology that would enable D'Agostino Wine to grow without putting pressure on a small, growing business.
Integrated Digital Transformation
We collaborated with Greg to develop a customized digital solution that would position D'Agostino Wine for growth. A new website was created that delivered a premium brand experience, not only increasing the conversion rate of D'Agostino Wine's online sales but also encouraging repeat orders. The website also leveraged Shopify's technology to eliminate issues in the fulfillment pipeline and automate processes that had been manual before, freeing up staff to concentrate on the core business. An email marketing solution was developed that enabled users to fully track their orders, freeing staff from having to deal with customer queries, while building a mailing list of engaged customers that could be targeted in future marketing campaigns. A dashboard was built so that the team could track sales figures in real-time and measure the success of their promotional efforts. We also developed D'Agostino Wine brand guidelines to help them target a younger consumer audience, along with a framework that enabled them to market to secondary target audiences, such as retailers.
